A NOTE FROM CHRISTINE TIMBLICK (Thorneloe) RE THE CHS EVENT
The actual event was similar to the past few years and very much scaled down from the days of a proper lunch etc. Anyway, it is the 'meeting up, which is important. Great to see the Croydon people and I am so lucky to have a 'chauffeur/minder, service!
I phoned Yvonne (Slogrove) yesterday, as I know she would love to have been able to come. She is OK but has had a change of drugs that she is having to get used to. She had a phone call from Sheila Ralph's (Mansell) son to say Sheila has gone into a hospice permanently. Yvonne is unsure whether he will be in contact again, so that may be the last we hear ...
